MACROSCOPIC VARIABILITY OF STUCTURES OF LOBULUS PARIETALIS AND PRECUNEUS
Traumas of CNS are more often and more complex than ever, also the influence of the factors of environment are more destructing, so all of them require detail knowledge of the morphology and functions of the nervous system. It is necessary for the faster and more accurate diagnosis in clinical medicine, and also it is necessary in preventing diseases of CNS. Modern neuroimaging procedures such as CT, MRI, PET, require precise knowledge of both morphologic variations of human brain , and the relation between morphology and function. In this kind of research the best solution is combination of descriptive and quantitative methods

OUR EXPERIENCE WITH "CHEMET" MEDICATION, FIRST TIME USED IN EUROPE IN KOSOVSKA MITROVICA
In two refugee camps, near K.Mitrovica (in little colliery city), gipsys refugees dislodge by Albanians were temporary located. In their blood, lead contamination is discovered. All together 310 children, 1-14 years old, were contaminated by lead. Examination and treatment is implement by the SZO patronage, which took capillar blood samples from 298 children and vein blood samples from 190 children. Level of lead, in 47 cases was more then 45 microgram./dl. All the children with high level of lead had physical and laboratory tests. Also, they were under special food diet, with a lot of calcium. In 45 cases, per os treatment is used with “Chemet” medication, produced by McNeil-USA.Only in 9 cases, week bad reaction was notice using this medication. In some isolated cases, headache, pain in stomach, sickness and sleepiness. This difficulties didn't required therapy cancelation. Treatment was fully successful except in two cases, where therapy was repeated.

FROM THE OLD ONE TOWARDS THE NEW WITH VLADAN DJORDJEVIC, M. D.
Every time, even ours, has its own «driving forces, starters and breakers». Dr Vladan Djordjevic resided during the very noisy time during the second half of the nineteenth century, known for intensive changes in biology and medicine. Contemporaries noticed peculiar nature of Dr Vladan Djordjevic: clairvoyant, cleverness - «gave more, than many other simple professionals together». If even nowadays the way of how a man thinks is not known, that is logical structuralism and logical functionality of thinking, scholastic is wrong that such a «natural thinking», certainly, enters into cliché. The author applied nine-valence logic and systematic approach. The measures in eradication of diseases which, used to be applied nowadays would be called "general hygienic measures". They didn't have to be sufficiently effective, so the possibility of appearance for some sick stayed, because it would appear in natural system of appendage, few «causative connection», but noticeable less that earlier. The helth ones exposed can be used for prooving cause, which contemporary statistic doesn't use for this purpose. By this, even when we have not existing of statistic importance it points out at the cause; that is, the existence of this one can direct someone to wrong road. The difference in the value of the result of the same event points out at the researches not being orientated and by that cosmopolitan community. Palliative measures made the doctors confused, as it was perfectly noticed by V. Djordjevic - "...he wouldn't make a mistake to prove, how people get sick and die because they are better dressed, better feed, because all their life is better organised than it used to be", although the group progressed by its better working. Multy valence »logic of allowance” as a natural and objective one, used to exist before its observation by logic and science. The result is «clairvoyant and restless spirit» of the future academic Vladan Djordjevic D. M. what is even nowadays desirable. The author concludes that there is one road to discover something (anticipate) by adding importance to «statistic importance»; and the other one, chosen by Dr Vladan Djordjevic by your own ratio (intuition). Although the disease appeared even when the progress is made - he didn't allow: «not to see the whole forest because of one wood», and to underestimate the applied measures. He didn't allow to be deceived by appearing of disease, because the palliative of measurements covers the system: а. When you are not successful, but and b. Even when you are successful - and those have to be separated by contemplation and by no means unifies!

RESULTS OF HEROIN HEROIN ADDICTS ON ADDICTS ON TRAIL MAKING MAKING TEST
As a result of long-term heroin abuse we can see impairment of cerebral structures, that leads to specific deficits in cognitive and conative area. There is a positive correlation between intensity of mentioned deficits and duration of heroin abuse. Attention is a cognitive function highly sensitive to toxic effects of opioids. Attention disorders and concentration disorders in opiate addicts are frequently described as a part of frontal syndrome, in consideration of high neurons sensitivity of frontal and prefrontal cortex to heroin. The aim of this study was to evaluate results of heroin addicts on Trail making test, in order to estimate the effect of heroin abuse on attention and specific relation between attention deficit with the duration of abuse. Ninty heroin addicts, divided in tree groups, regarding to abuse duration, were included in study. Results showed that heroin abuse longer than one year is connected with attention disorders, like low flexibility of attention and low selectivity of attention. The intensity of mentioned effects is higher in addicts who use higher daily dosage of heroin

CARDIAC DYSRRHYTHMIAS IN HYPERTENSIVE PATIENTS WITH LEFT VENTRICULE HYPERTROPHY
Cardiac dysrrhythmias can be found in patient with no signs of ischemic cardiac disease but supraventricular and ventricular arrhythmias can be developed in cardiac hypertrophy. In this work we have examined frequency of cardiac dysrrhythmias in patients with hypertension and with or without hypertrophy of left ventricule (LVH). Investigation was accomplished on 80 patients with high blood pressure. In all 80 patients, basic on ECHO signs we define LVH, and by using of Holter monitoring we analised dysrrhythmias. Basic on ECHO signs we have 2 groups of patients: I.group ECHO (+) LV, and II group ECHO (-) LVH, in each 40 patients. Holter monitoring have 37 patients [22 mans (59,45%) and 15 women (40,54%)]. Hypertensive patients with LVH, who hade dysrrhythmia, have middle value IMLV 155,3 ± 27,21; аgе 56,42 ± 6,04; duration of hypertension 11,73 ±10,05; and EF% 55,2 ± 3,77. In patients with Holter monitoring 16 ( 43,32%) have dysrrhythmias type II, IIIa, IIIb and IV Lowny degree, (12) 34,43% from 43,32% have LVH. Salves VES are registrated only in group hypertension patients with ECHO(+) 5,4%. By using Mann Whitney statistic test for presents of dysrrhythmias in 2 groups of patients (ECHO LVH and ECHO without LVH), we found statistics significants (p = 0,049). In IMLV 60-110 g/m² 8,82% patients have dysrrhythmia, IMLV 151-200 g/m² dysrrhythmias are registrated in 40%; and 50% patients have dysrrhythmias in IMLV> 200g/m². In group hypertensive patients with LVH dysrrhythmias are registrated in group with ecscentric LVH 35,1%

THE INFLUENCE OF ENVIROMENT AND EDUCATION ON INFORMATION ABOUT HORMONAL SUPSTITUTIONAL THERAPY (HST) IN MENOPAUSE
Menopause is a physiological condition arising from the end of a woman's reproductive life and is defined by the gradual decline of menstrual bleeding over a period of 12 months. Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) is the first choise therapy in treating this condition, and prevention of early and late problems associated with hormone deficient in menopause. This study was organized on Clinics for Gynecology and obstretics in Novi sad. We were examined women knowledge about HRT, as the number of active users of HRT. Two hundred testing women were divided into two groups, arrived from city or willage regions, and they had different education level. Our results showed that number of examined persons, who were infomed about HRT, was significantly higher in city region, but number of HRT users was nearly the same for both groups. Education degree is the significant factor associated with information about HRT. High education women were better informed according to women with lower education. Irrecpective of origin and educational degree, there was statisticaly little number of women, who use HRT, despite of their aknowlegment about this way of therapy. According to our results, we conclude that, it is very important to conduct a proffesional aproach, including continual preventive action, for resolving hesitation to HRT

CHANGES OF ANTHROPOMETRIC PARAMETERS OF THE THIGH DURING PROGRAMMED STRENGTH TRAINING
Primary stimulus for muscular mass enlargement is to repeat developing of sceletal muscles force in the level above the one which exist in everyday activities. The aim of this work was following the growth of lower leg extensor muscular force as well as changes in the surface of a diagonal upper leg muscular tissue cross-section during eight-week programming force training. 12 male subjects, who were neither active nor regular in practicing sport for the last six months, were included in this examination. Conducted training programme was based on dynamic lower leg extensor muscular force training with concentric and eccentric component. Programme was consisted of three training a week for the period of eight weeks. Anthropometric measuring of the upper leg as well as upper leg skin folds ranges were conducted before the th beginning of training programme, after 4 week and at the end of training programme, and also calculated the surface size of diagonal upper leg pure muscular mass cross-section. During eight-week training, we have statistically significant growth th th of lower leg extensor muscular force (27.20% in 4 week, 50.18% in 8 week). After four-week training, we have statistically enlargement in the surface of diagonal left and right upper leg muscular tissue cross-section for 2.62% and 2.45%. This dimension continued to grow by 8th week of training (7.63% and 7.07%). Programming force training with concentric and eccentric component has lead to significant muscular force growth as well as surface enlargement of diagonal upper leg muscular tissue cross-section in previously untrained person. Muscular mass enlargement was more th th important at the end of 8 week than after 4 week

CHARACTERISTICS OF ALCOHOLISED DRIVERS BASED ON ESTABLISHED ALCOHOL CONCENTRATION IN EXHALED AIR
This research has been done on a sample of 4211 drivers, from which 3886 ( 92,28%) were put in examination for plus measuring alcohol concentration in exhaled air, that is, breath testing with breathalyser type Alcotest® 7410 RS, while 297 of examined people, besides breath testing were put through blood sample analysis, applying ADH enzyme's method. Both sexes were covered in this examination, and they were at the age from 16 to 66, classified according to the clinical phase alcohol taken. Results: Most of the alcoholic drivers were men. The greatest number (94,9% from 4211) didn't participate in a traffic accidents (TA), 3,8% were participants in TA with material damage, and in 1,2% of cases were TA with injuring some of the participants, while in just 4 cases (0,1%) came to mortal injuring participants. The highest number of police controls were registrated on Saturdays, in Summer months, in time from 00:00 to 03:59 hours. Average age of the examined people were 32,5 years old (SD = 0,871), and the greatest number of the examined in this analysed sample belongs to age group from 21 to 30 (1748, that is, 41,51% from 4211). The greatest number of drivers (51,3%) were in clinical phase of mild intoxication. Applying three factor's ANOVA statistical method with one set factor (with part of a day in a month) it is established that arising traffic accidents (TA) depends solely from clinical phase of intoxication. Obtained results taken from breath testing are compared with results received from determinating Blood Alcohol Concentration (BAC) applying enzym's ADH method. Very high coefficient of correlation is established from 0,95 (r 0,198, p>0,0006). In the observed period falling trend of alcoholic drivers is recorded. We can note constant numerical domination of age group of 21 to 30. Driving drunken is typical characteristic for male population. In group of professional drivers it's extremely rare steering a vehicle in alcoholic condition. It is detected that in most cases of TA participants were in mild or medium state of intoxication, what indicates to a major accidental significance precisely these degrees of intoxication

From the entire number of new discovered woman's breast cancers, 48% are women older then age of 65. Woman's breast cancer discovered by persons got on in years diagnose in getting forward condition of illness besides bigger cancer freqvency with propitious histology and biological profile. There are not enough proper studies about the breast cancer in elderly. For the project development material has been used from the surgical clinic and clinic for Oncology, as wellas institute for Pathology of the clinical centre in the city of Nis.The data from our serial direct attention to rarer conduct of standard diagnostic procedures at elderly with breast cancer. Also the conectivity between years of the patients; and time being passing from the initial diagnosis until treatment has been studied. Using pathhistology exam we were reseiving information about histological type of cancer, about the size of cancer, histological and nuclear grade, as well as absence or hold of metastasis process of lymph nodus. The most frequent used surgical procedure was radical mastectomy modified by Madden and Patey. The presence of complications has been tracked in the postoperative progress. In the postoperative progress depending on condition of breast cancer histological and nuclear grade, hold of the lymph knots, positivism of hormonereceptors, presence of comorbidity female patientswere subjected to adjuvant therapy. With purpose of perception of diagnoses as well as caracteristics and results of treatment of the female patient's survival has been tracked. The average survival in the examined group was 21 months while it was 31 month in the control group

CORRELATION BETWEEN SOFT PALATE LENGTH AND CHRONIC MIDDLE EAR INFLAMMATION
The role of Eustachian tube dysfunction in chronic middle ear inflammation etiopathogenesis is obvious and almost always present. Shorter length of m. tensor velli palatini, the only active opener of the Eustachian tube, is related to tube dysfunction. The aim of the study is to investigate correlation between soft palate length, angle formed between soft and hard palate and chronic middle ear inflammation occurrence. Examinations have been performed on 60 adults. Group A consisted of patients suffering from chronic middle ear inflammation, whereas group B consisted of healthy individuals with respect to their gender and age. Examinations included medical check-up, auditory findings, radiological examinations and craniometrical X- ray measurements performed using lateral head X-ray. Soft palate length and angle formed between soft and hard palate angle were measured. It has been determined that soft palate length (distance from spine nasalis to the top of the uvula) is shorter in patients suffering from chronic middle ear inflammation ( average value for group A= 3,09, SD=0,422, whereas for group B =3,747, SD=0,448). Student test results indicate highly significant difference between examined groups ( value of variable t=6,025). Angle formed between hard and soft palate is higher in group A examinees (average value 138.4, SD=9.379, than in control group (average value 132,17, SD=8.765). Value of the variable t=2,658 indicate the significant differences in values between examined groups. Soft palate in patients suffering from chronic middle ear inflammation is positioned more horizontally and its length is shorter than in control group B. Depth and volume of the nasopharynx is lesser in group A patients. These soft palate dimensions impact soft palate muscular disbalance, mostly m. tensor velli palatini. In dysfunctional tube, medial lamina cartilage rotation is insufficient and muscular movement is minimal. Defining soft palate dimensions and nasopharyngeal morphology Eustachian tube dysfunction can be explained and chronic middle ear inflammation development predicted

BREASTRECONSTRUCTION USING DEEPINFERIOR EPIGASTRIC PERFORATOR FLAP
Breast cancer remains one of the most common malignancies in women and is one of the leading causes of cancerrelated mortality. Despite the current emphasis on breast conservation, mastectomy rates remain at 30%. Mastectomy is often associated with significant psychological sequelae including distorted body image and sexual dysfunction. Breast restoration is assumed to allow a full emotional and physical recovery from a breast cancer crisis. Autogenous tissue gives the best results, and currently the best technique in most women is probably the free DIEPflap. there is theoretically minimal functional loss, minimal risk of hernia, less postoperative pain, and shorter hospitalization. However, there is a range of options, such as other flaps and use of implants, which can be tailored to specific situations

PSYCHOLOGICALASSESSMENT IN SURGICALLY TREATED PATIENTS WITH LUMBAR RADICULOPATHY
High frequency of appearance and use of expensive diagnostic and therapeutic methods makes lumbar radiculopathy the most expensive benign disease. The aim of the study was evaluation of types psychological reactions in surgically treated patients with chronic lumbar radiculopathy. Matherial and methods: We examined 50 surgically treated patients who had low back pain. The patients were multidisciplinary examined and treated on Medical Rehabilitation Clinic in Novi Sad. The Minnesota Multiphasic Personal Inventory (MMPI) was used to determine the personality profiles. Patients were tested after rehabilitation treatment. Results of the exploring showed the normal profile of personality in 70 % of patients and pathological profile in 30 % ( hypochondria in 8, hysteria in 5 patients and depression in 2 patients). All groups showed improvement in functional limitation during the rehabilitation treatment. Severity and length of pain after rehabilitation treatment is bigger in the group of patients with pathological profile of personality (p<0,005). Psychological factors may play an important role in the onset, severity, exacerbation, or maintenance of this type of chronic pain. Screening surgically treated patients with chronic lumbar radiculopathy with MMPI may be effective in identifying psychopathology

VARIATIONS OF THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN MAXILLAAND MANDIBLE st nd rd TO CRANIAL BASE IN PERSON WITH 1 , 2 AND 3 CLASS BY ANGLE
Introduction: In 1899. Angle introduced his own classification of malocclusions which was established anteroposterior relationship between maxilla and mandible.Later cephalometric examinations showed possible variations of the relationship between maxilla and mandible to cranial base, in all three classes. The aim work: The aim of this work was to ascertain types of the relationship between maxilla and mandible to cranial base in persons with I,II and III class by Angle. Material and method:The profile telerendgenograms were used in male and female aged aprroximately 14,5 years. On the bases of clinical examination and analysis of models, the patients were previously distributed into three groups with 50 examinees in each, according to Angle classification of malocclusions in saggital plain.SNAand SNB angle were analysed, and on the bases were individual values, the type of the relation between maxilla and mandible to cranial base was determined for every examinee. Results: In persons with Angle I class, eight types of the relationship were determined, while five types in persons with Angle II and III class of the relationship of jaw to cranial base. Conclusion: Because of large number of variationsof the relationship of jaw to cranial base diagnostic procedure should evolve, and treatment of the very similar cases should be different

EDICINAL MEDICINAL FEATURES OF TURES OF OLIVE LEAF OLIVE LEAF (Olea europaea Olea europaea L.)
Interest in the olive leaf and its chemical constituents has recently been increasing. Its benefits, however, have been known for centuries, and it has been traditionally used to prevent and treat diseases. The main constituent of the olive leaves is oleuropeine one of iridoide monoterpenes, which is thought to be responsible for pharmacological effects. Furthermore, the olive leaves contain triterpenes including oleanolic and maslinic acid, flavonoides (luteolin, apigenine, rutin...), and chalcones (olivin, olivin-diglucoside). Its chemical content makes olive leaf one of the most potent natural antioxidant. Olive leaf is used to enhance the immune system, as an antimicrobial and in heart disease. Folk medicine uses also include hypertonia, arteriosclerosis, rheumatism, gout, diabetes mellitus, and fever. Recently, experimental animal studies have demonstrated hypoglycemic, hypotensive, antiarrhythmic, and vasodilator effects, as well as spasmolytic effect on the intestinal smooth muscle. Antibacterial, antiviral and antiinflammatory activity were also confirmed. The beneficial properties of olive leaf are further enhanced by the bioavailability of its polyphenolic constituents, which are readily absorbed through the gastrointestinal tract, resulting in significant levels in the circulation. Clinical studies to confirm experimental results are needed

THE ROLE OF NITRIC OXIDE PHYSIOLOGICALAND PATHOPHYSIOLOGICAL PROCESSES THE ROLE OF NITRIC OXIDE PHYSIOLOGICAL AND PATHOPHYSIOLOGICAL PROCESSES
Nitric oxide (NO) is a major messenger molecule that plays key roles in many physiological processes. NO is produced by nitric oxide synthase (NOS), which catalyzes the conversion of L-arginine to L-citruline and NO. At least three isoforms of NOS have been identified and characterized, namely, neuronal NOS (nNOS), endothelial NOS (eNOS) and inducible NOS (iNOS). Recent evidence indicates that most of the cytotoxicity attributed to NO is rather due to peroxynytrite, produced from the diffusion controlled reaction betwen NO and another free radical, the suproxide anion. Peroxynitrite interacts with protein, DNAand lipids via direct oxidative reactions or via indirect radical mediated mechanisms

HEALTH STATE EVALUATION OF POPULATIONHISTORICAL LOOKING BACK AND MODERN APPROACH
Search for objective indicators of health state of the population is essential public health issue. First serious attempt of health evaluation of the population were observed in the end of 18. and beginning of the 19. century. In this period of time, description of health population was mostly based on indicators which were based on data of numbers of death. Later, because of significant decrease of infectious disease and improvement of life and work conditions comes to an extension of average life span. Also, comes to a change of conceptualization of health. As a result of all this changes it has been noticed need for consideration of other aspects of health. As a outcome, indicators of disease, disability and non-biological indicators of health (as a approach to health service, quality of health protection, condition of living, life style factors and environment factors) are more and more necessary for documentation of human capacity for physical, mental and social functioning as a objective analysis of health state. To get all the information of all aspects of health which can not be get from health statistics routine data, was started with examination of population health trough interview, respectively polling out representative population sample. Aim of this studies is to get basic information about population health, in manner to supplement the picture of population states, identify health problems and health needs, to get the picture of representations of risk factors among population; to get the picture of health service utility; to find out health disparity among different countries and inside the country, among different population groups; to follow the change of health states during the time; to follow achievement in health strategy; to insure data for people which are creating health politics, in manner to coordinate theirs politics, strategy and programs. This kind of study is taking place every year in many countries and in others periodically. In our country this kind of studies were done during the year of 2000. and 2006

RITUXIMAB- MABTHERA - NEW APROACH IN RHEUMAOID ARTHRITIS TREATMENT
Rituximab is a human/mouse chimeric IgG1 monoclonal antibody that specifically targets the CD20 surface antigen expressed on the cell surface of all preplasma cell stages of B-cell differentiation. By binding to CD20, rituximab causes selective B-cell depletion through antibody-dependent and complement-dependent cell lysis and apoptosis. B-cell depletion is believed to disrupt the many B-cell functions that contribute to the pathogenesis of RA. The purpose of this study was to examine the efficacy and safety of RTX an anti-CD20 B cell depleting monoclonal antibody in combination with methotrexate (MTX),in patients with rheumatoid arthritis who experienced an inadequate response to one or more TNF antagonists and had active disease despite ongoing treatment with MTX and a TNF inhibitor. ACR responses in RTX treated patients were superior to placebo. The primary end point was the proportion of patients in each group that achieved an ACR20 response at Week 24. Secondary endpoints included ACR50 and ACR70 responses, changes in Disease Activity Score (DAS28), and EULAR response

INFECTIO GRAFTI ARTERIOVENOUS FOR HAEMODIALYSIS
Arteriovenous graft are the most frequent alternative to the arteriovenous fistula. Although arteriovenous grafts 'mature' fasterthan endogenous fistulas, at least 3 weeks are needed before the first puncture to allow endothelialization of the internal wall. Implantation of arteriovenous graft is foreign material, are subjected to a high risk of thrombotic and infectious complications.

RECOMBINANTACTIVATED FACTOR VIIa IN HAEMOSTASIS AFTER RADICALNEPHRECTOMYOFRENOCELULAR CARCINOMA
Important facts about recombinant human factor VIIa have been mentioned, also about the renal cell carcinoma. Case report: Male, aged 69, with infiltrative renal cell carcinoma, underwent radical nephrectomy using Hasagawa`s approach. Extirpated tumor had 35 cm in diameter. During the surgery, patient suffered a cardiac arrest with 3500 ml blood loss. After operation, he lost 2100 ml more blood. Despite of active blood supstitutions with intensive surgical attempts in order of haemostasis, bleeding did not stop untill the application of rFVIIa (300 I. U.). Patient survives and recovers completelly. Conclusion: RFVIIa is very succesful in controling of massive surgical bleeding, possibly associated with paraneoplastic syndrome.

DIFFICULT INTUBATION IN CAESAREAN SECTION
Every situation where an experienced anesthesiologist needs more than 10 minutes or three tries for putting the endotracheal tube is considered as difficult intubation. Frequency of difficult intubation in pregnant women is three to ten times bigger than general surgical population. This case report shows that it is necessary to have passable respiratory tract in case of difficult intubation in order to keep in life a woman who needs to be done Caesarean section and save mother and a newborn
