PERIODONTAL CONDITION IN PATIENTS WITH RED BLOOD CELLS DISEASE

Health of soft oral tissue and periodontium in biggest measure depends as well of oral hygiene. It exists the positive correlation between oral hygiena and periodontal condition. Many systemic disease, as blood disease, change reactivity of organism and also peridontium, and directly take influence at course and difficulty of periodontitis.

MUTUAL RELATION CHRONICAL COMPLICATION OF DIABETES MELLITUS TYPE 2 IN THE SCOPE OF TESTED GROUP

Diabetes mellitus with its own chronical complication is the cause of the large procent morbidity and mortality between population. World Health Organisation (WHO) has announced that so far involved 150 millions peoples, so the prevention chronical complication this illnesses priority. By this work, I want to rescript signification connection microangiopathy chronical complication with macroangiopathy chronical complication of diabetes mellitus. Handled 60 patients with diabetes mellitus type 2. Patients divide in IV groups forms on concentration HbA1c. Retinopathy most often microangiopathy chronical complication of diabetes, in the meaning of being united with other complication, most expressed are the connection some with microangiopathy complication: angiopathy (R=0.71; p<0.001), then nephropathy (R=0.60; p<0.001) and the end neuropathy (R=0.44; p<0.001).

EFFECT OF ACUTE POISONING WITH ORGANOPHOSPHATE COMPOUNDS ON HYDROELECTROLITIC AND ACIDE-BASE STATUS OF CHILDREN'S

Acute organophosphate (ÎÐ) poisoning is an important cause of morbidity and mortality in children especially in the developing countries. Published studies work have been reported on acute childhood poisoning has focused mainly on the epidemiological trends, with little information about alteration in electrolitic and acid-base equilibrium and other disturbance and on the management of the poisoned children. Hypovolaemia, electrolyte derangements and acidosis are major predisposing factors for development of complications. Metabolic acidosis is one of the major causes of death in patients poisoned with OPC acutely. We suggest that children's with acute OPC poisoning should be screened for electrolyte and metabolic acidosis with blood gas analysis.

CLINICAL USE OF CLOPIDOGREL IN ACUTE CORONARY SYNDROME

Acute instable atherosclerotic plate in the basis of the pathophysiology of the acute coronary syndrome and it is divided on two big groups: a) acute coronary syndrome without ST elevation (NONSTEMI) and b) myocardial infarction with ST elevation (STEMI). Clopidogrel belongs to the group of antiaggregation drugs which inhibit ADP receptors and on that way prevent platelets aggregation. The clinical confirmation of the clopidogrel efficiency is confirmed trough 4 big clinical studies: CAPRIE, CURE, COMMIT/CCS 2 and CLARITY-TIMI 28 studies. In CAPRIE study, clopidogrel showed moderate but significant advantage comparing to aspirin in prevention of the secondary ischemic cerebrovascular stroke and myocardial infarction. The results of CURE study showed that doubled combined therapy with clopidogrel and aspirin brought the reduction of the relative risk of cardiovacular events with patients with acute coronary syndrome without ST elevation. The results of this study showed that the group of patients which received clopidogrel beside aspirin and thrombolytic therapy it came to the reduction of the occluded arteries. In COMMIT were also involved the patients with the acute myocardial infarction with ST elevation. Total number of lethal cases of the repeated myocardial infarctions or acute brain stroke was smaller in a group which was receiving clopidogrel beside thrombolytic therapy and aspirine in comparison with the placebo group. The results of CLARITY and COMMIT studies gave us recommendation that patients with acute myocardial infarction with ST elevation which have thrombolytic therapy or percutaneous coronary intervention should receive clopidogrel as well.

THE ALERGIC INFLAMMATION OF RESPIRATORY TRACT (INFLAMMATION IN CONTINUITY)

Allergic disease are actual pathologic condition in medicine. From this diseases can get ill people of any age, both sex, and the number of patients with allergic diseases rapidly increase in countries of progressive world. This disease are wide - spread, with tendency of increase, and they can have fatal result in extreme cases. Because of high prevalence of morbidity and complications they have, allergic diseases are health problem. According to World allergic organization, more than 40 % of population in world will be atopic. In our environment this diseases are increasing, because of bad ecological condition from one side, and from the other side of genetic influence, and on the top of ladder are allergic diseases of respiratory system. The mayor key process in atopia is continuous and plentiful production of IgE antibody.

ROLE OF ENDURANCE TRAINING (CHRONIC STRESS) ON ANTIOXIDANT SYSTEM ADAPTATION

It is well known that intensive physical activity increase the production of reactive species of O and N (RONS), but 2 it is also known that moderate and regular physical activity has influence on antioxidative system adaptation and help in repairing process of oxidative damage. In this paper we estimated markers of lipid peroxidation (MDA, % ind MDA), and antioxidant status (Asc, DHA/A, GSH, CAT, Pex) for 30 students (control group), and 30 professional football players (regular intensive physical activity). In the group of professional sportsman there were significant increase of lipid peroxidation markers (MDA ↑, % ind MDA ↑), which was also followed by an increased antioxidant activity (Asc ↑, DHA/A ↑, GSH ↑, Pex ↑, CAT ≈). We can conclude that chronic physical activity significantly improves antioxidant status using the adaptation process.

HELICOBACTER PYLORI INFECTION AND ASSOCIATED DISEASE AT DIFFERENT AGES AND SEX

The discovery of Helicobacter pylori (Hp) and the causal relationship between Helicobacter pylori infection with chronic gastritis, gastric and duodenal ulcers and gastric cancer is an epochal event in recent times. The aim of this study was to examine the prevalence of Hp infection and prove the connection between Helicobacter pylori infection and gastric and duodenal diseases in different age and gender categories. Study included 250 subjects of both sexes, different age groups selected random sample. All respondents were subjected to Hp urease test from biopsy specimens of the antrum and corpus of the stomach obtained by upper gastrointestinal endoscopy with standard forceps. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistical methods (CF, SD, Min, Max) and analytical statistical methods. (t test, Chi square test, Kruskal-Wallis test, MannWhitney U test, Wilcoxon test, analysis of variance, ANOVA, Spearman correlation and Persona). Non ulcer gastropathy was the dominant finding that the Hp urease negative (92.2%) and the Hp urease positive (77%)respondents .Duodenalni ulcer was common in the male sex (24.6%) and gastric cancer (2.9%), and stomach ulcer was common in women (4.5%). The most common representation non ulcer gastropathy in the fifth and sixth decades of life while duodenal ulcer was most common in the fifth decade (37.5%). Gastric ulcer was noted in the second, third and fourth decade of life. Gastric cancer is 100% of cases was recorded in the sixth decade of life. Hp Urease test that requires upper digestive endoscopy and biopsy specimens of gastric mucosa is the minimum invasive diagnosis of Helicobacter pylori infection. Upper gastrointestinal endoscopy and HP verification changes the standard in the diagnosis of associated diseases of the stomach and duodenum. (non ulcer gastropathy, gastric and duodenal ulcers and gastric cancer).

HYDROPNEUMOTHORAX - CASE REPORT

Hydropneumothorax is a patological condition of pleura characterised by presence of both liquid and air, rarely of gas between two pleura laminae.According to the origin,it can be result of a disease or a trauma. A typical roentgenogram is obtained during radiography in a standing position and PA projection: horizontal level of liquid represented by homogeneous shadow merging with diaphragm shadow and avascular light without visible parenchyma above the liquid level. The authors present two cases of hydropneumothorax. The first case is about hydropneumothorax originated after several repeated tapping of pleural effusion of malignant etiology. In the second case, hydropneumothorax is a thorax injury complication. Hydropneumothorax rarely appears in practice, and diagnosis is fast and accurate just based on clinical picture and standard lung radiography.

HYPERPROLACTINEMIA IN WOMEN OF REPRODUCTIVE AGE WITH DISORDERS OF MENSTRUAL CYCLE

Hyperprolactinemia is the most common hypothalamic-pituitary axial disorder which is found in clinical practice. Increased level of prolactin, regardless of the cause, results in disorder of gonadal function and infertility, while normalization of the level of prolactin is associated with establishment of normal gonadal function and fertility. Establishment of the correct diagnosis is a great significance, because it is possible to normalize the level of prolactin and establish normal function of ovaries in more than 90% cases with specific therapy. The objective of the work is to study concentration of prolactin in each phase of menstrual cycle, its impact (influence) on FSH, LH and E2, as well as the influence of hyperprolactinemia on the rhythm of menstrual cycle. The study has encompassed 150 of women in reproductive period, from 18-40 years of age. The control group includes 50 of women, and there are 100 of women with menstrual cycle disorders (oligomenorrhea, polymenorrhea and secondary amenorrhea) which causes hyperprolactinemia. The turnout of hyperprolactinemia in causes the disorders of menstrual cycle (oligomenorrhea, polymenorrhea, amenorrhea) is 83%, on the basis of the results, wich demonstrates a serious problem and justifies a scientific study.
