Polypus fibroepithealis vulvae
Fibroepithelial polyps of the vulva are specific mesenchymal lesions that are commonly found in the vulvovaginal region in reproductive period and in premenopausal females. We present a case of a 36 year old female, who came for examination because of interruption of unwanted pregnancy. During the examination we revealed a large flank mass on the stalk, which started from the right labia. Tumor formation was measuring 165x120x10mm, soft consistency, painfully insensitive to palpation. The tumor was removed by excision, cutting the stem at the base and the material was sent for histopathological examination. Histopathological findings confirmed that this is a fibroepithelial polyp of the vulva.

The importance of functional hemispheric asymmetry in the assessment of cognitive evoked potentials and reaction time
The aim of this study was to determine whether there is a correlation of latency and amplitude of P300 cognitive potential and the degree of lateralization of brain hemispheres. The study included 60 subjects whose age was between 45 and 56 years. Bioelectric brain activity was recorded using argentum chloride (AgCl) electrodes that were placed at central line of the scalp (over Fz and Cz regions) according to the international 10-20 standard. P300 was generated using “oddball” paradigm with randomized stimuli: A frequent 1000 Hz tone with an occurrence of 80 % and a 2000 Hz tone (target) with a 20 % occurrence. The measurement is done with the right hand (first recording) and left hand (second recording). All subjects in this study were tested for usage lateralization and showed that they are right-handed. Based on the results of gestural lateralization subjects are divided in three groups. In the group with high degree of lateralization latencies of P300 were significantly lower when dominant hand was used in comparison to non-dominant hand, on Fz electrode (t = 4,162, p<0,01) and Cz electrode (t = 5,302, p<0,01 (p<0.01) and amplitudes of P300 were significantly higher, on Fz electrode (t=-2,725, p<0,05), on Cz electrode (t=2,527, p<0,05). However, there were no statistically significant differences (p>0.05) for latencies and amplitudes of P300 between dominant and non-dominant hand for the group of subjects with weak and average degree of lateralization. In both subject groups, significantly faster RT was measured when dominant hand was used. The P300 cognitive potential and reaction time can contribute to the study of indicators of the functional hemispheric asymmetry of the brain.

Theories of aging and lipofuscin as cellular marker of aging
Aging begins at the moment of birth and it is inevitable part of our lives. Statistical data obtained in recent years, indicate that the average human lifespan is significantly prolonged compared to the previous century, which is likely to come as a result of technological progress and consequently the development of medicine. Whole teams of scientists are constantly trying to clarify the process of aging and in some ways make it slower.Attempts to find the causes of aging is present for the purpose of extending the creative activity of man

Risk factors that influence suicidal behavior in affective disorders
It is known in the literature that the incidence and prevalence of suicide and attempted suicide in psychiatric patients is significantly higher than in the general population. The paper examined risk factors for suicidal behavior in the category of admitted patients hospitalized with the diagnosis of sleep disorders and affective (Unipolar resp. Bipolar depression). Study activated by 80 patients, 40 in both diagnostic groups received treatment at the Special Psychiatric Hospital in Gornja Toponica near Nis. The work methodology used are: psychiatric interview, Hamilton Depression Rating Scale (HAMD), and the C-SSRS (Columbia-Suicide Severity Rating Scale)- assessment tool that assesses suicidal ideation and behavior. The study results show that there is a relationship between suicidal behavior (suicide attempts and suicidal ideation) and the diagnosis of bipolar affective disorder, positive history of previous suicide attempts, so that these factors are stronger, to the degree of suicidality higher. On this sample, clearly suicidal behavior, with the same purpose, intensity of suicidal thoughts and medical impairment after suicide attempts were significantly more frequent in patients with Bipolar Affective Disorder in the depressive phase of the illness. Patients with a previous suicide attempt, and poor personal and social circumstances had a higher rate of attempted suicide.

Stomatitis herpetica: The importance of early diagnosis
Herpetic stomatitis as well as many other infections of the orofacial region in everyday practice represent an important percentage of pathology. These diseases can be a major problem for therapists in terms of early diagnosis and, consequently, in determining the correct treatment. The disease belongs to a group of droplet infection, caused by the herpes simplex virus, with characteristic changes in the skin and mucous membrane in children and adults. A relatively small percentage, 10-15% of primary infections are manifested with clinically distinct symptoms. At the oral mucosa occurs triad of symptoms: generalized catarrhal gingivitis, coated tongue and erosions dispersed all over oral epithelium of the oral cavity.

Anatomy of the female pelvic viscera before and after transobturator tape procedures and anterior vaginal wall repair in patients with stress urinary incontinence
Anatomy of the female pelvic viscera was investigated before and after the Tension free Vaginal tape (TVT-O). Forty patients were included in the study. Surgery was performed between 2009 and 2012 in Clinic of Urology (Clinical Center Nis) and Department of Urology (Municipal Hospital Prokuplje). Stress Urinary Incontinence (SUI) and anterior vaginal wall prolapse was confirmed in all patients. In all patients with anterior vaginal wall prolapse (grade≥2) both tension free vaginal tape (TVT-O) and anterior vaginal wall repair were performed. Pelvic Organ Prolapse Quantification (POPQ) system was used for the evaluation of prolapse before and after the surgery. Mean age of patients was 61 years. Spinal anesthesia was performed in thirty patients and general anesthesia in 10 patients. Intraoperative blood loss was under 50 ml. There were no bladder, nerve and blood vessels injuries . Thirty eight out of forty patients (95%) were satisfied with the outcome of the surgery. There was a significant correction of prolapse after the surgery. Recurrence of prolapse was found in patients with the high grade prolapse before the surgery, as well as, in patients with the history of previous anterior vaginal repair. Pelvic organ prolapse, congenital or acquired, is supported by the congenital weakness of the pelvic floor.

The adhesive bridge inlay retained in the therapy of minimal partial edentulism
In care of minimal partial edentulism, ie the lack of a tooth, as an alternative method can be used inlay retained adhesive restorations. The aim of this paper is to present possibilities for the application ceramic systems used for adhesive prosthetic restorations. In the making inlay restorations in the region of the posterior teeth can be applied ceramic system of higher strength which can be veneered with translucent ceramics. With the development of adhesive dentistry, it is possible to establish a strong link between restoration and teeth by means of composite cements and thus ensure sustainability of recovery. The clinical procedure is simple, minimally invasive, and provides a glimpse into a way of making inlay retained fixed restorations.
