SPECIFIC PATTERN OF F-2-FLUORO-2-DEOXY-D-GLUCOSE POSITRON EMISSION TOMOGRAPHY IN DIFFERENTIAL DIAGNOSIS OF ALZHEIMER DISEASE: CASE REPORT
Introduction: Dementia is a clinical diagnosis based on deficits of intellectual function, usually memory. Primarily neurodegenerative diseases are characterized by progressive neuronal damages and its synapsis. Early-onset Alzheimer disease 18 occurs in someone younger than 65. FDG-PET/CTis a quantitative tomographic technique also calleda biomarker of neuronal activity.
Case outline: A female of 54, mother, 12 years of education, an accountant, was sent to FDG-PET/CT brain scan because of loss of memory, social withdrawal, apathy, behavior changes, troubles with paying bills, speaking difficulties with no structural imaging abnormalities. PET scan reviled glucose hypometabolism in parietal lobes, left posterior cingulum, parietotemporal regions, the left parietooccipital region, left insula and temporal lobes. A male of 43, father, army corporal, 12 years of education, was sent to metabolic hybrid imaging because suspected dementia. He expressed progressive behavior decline, in a year time. The patient wasn't cooperative, could not concentrate and confabulated a lot. Forgetfulness, decline in voluntary dynamics and apathy dominated the clinical presentation. Structural imaging showed supratentorial, right precentral gyri solitary lesion and cortical bilateral hypocampal atrophy. FDG scan reviled distinctively diminished glucose metabolism posteriorly in parietal and temporal lobes, both posterior cingulum. SPM analysis confirmed the visually observed pattern of hypometabolism in both patients.
Conclusion: Depression is an important consideration in the differential diagnosis of AD. Early detection of AD through molecular imaging techniques will assist the choice of medications to slow the progression of the disease and optimize patient care.

SEGMENTNA ANATOMIJA JETRE NA ULTRAZVUKU
Anatomy of the liver does not correspond to its functional anatomy, and does not include parts of portal triad and hepatic venous system and therefore is not adequate in clinical practice, especially in terms of planning eventual surgical resection. Couinaud's classification of liver segments, modified by the Bismuth, is used for a rapid, ultrasound evaluation, in which the liver is divided into eight segments. The possibility of a functional-anatomic segmentation of the liver, based on respect for the system of portal triad and hepatic vein, undoubtedly gives ultrasonography great importance to the planning of possible resection of liver segments, affected by the pathological process, with sparing of the remaining liver parenchyma.

Tranzitorni ishemijski atak dijagnostikovan digitalnom subtrakcionom angiografijom
Evaluacija senzitivnosti angiografije u dijagnostici tranzitornog ishemijskog ataka (TIA).

HYDROPNEUMOTHORAX - CASE REPORT
Hydropneumothorax is a patological condition of pleura characterised by presence of both liquid and air, rarely of gas between two pleura laminae.According to the origin,it can be result of a disease or a trauma. A typical roentgenogram is obtained during radiography in a standing position and PA projection: horizontal level of liquid represented by homogeneous shadow merging with diaphragm shadow and avascular light without visible parenchyma above the liquid level. The authors present two cases of hydropneumothorax. The first case is about hydropneumothorax originated after several repeated tapping of pleural effusion of malignant etiology. In the second case, hydropneumothorax is a thorax injury complication. Hydropneumothorax rarely appears in practice, and diagnosis is fast and accurate just based on clinical picture and standard lung radiography.

ANTHROPOMETRIC PARAMETERS IN DETERMINING THE SIZE AND DISTRIBUTION OF FAT MASS IN SUBJECTS WITH METABOLIC SYNDROME
Metabolic syndrome is a common metabolic disorder whose primary feature is abdominal obesity, which is associated with a high prevalence of dyslipidemia, hypertension and glucose tolerance disorders. The goal was, determine BMI in subjects with metabolic syndrome and people with normal body weight, take anthropometric parameters (waist and hip circumference, and calculate WHR and WSR index) to assess the average degree of nourishment and body fat distribution. The research was conducted in Gracanica Health House. The study group consisted of 130 subjects that met the criteria for metabolic syndrome. The control group consisted of 40 randomly selected subjects during medical check-ups. The study group was dominated by female with 83. 08%, followed by 16. 92% of male subjects, with the average age of subjects being 56. 32 years. The average BMI index of the study group was 32. 22 kg/m², which indicates first-degree obesity, while the average BMI index of study group subjects was 24. 67 kg/m², which is within the normal nutrition range. By comparing the average values of anthropometric parameters, we established that the study group subjects had statistically significantly higher average body weight parameters (waist-to-hip ratio p<0,001), while the control group subjects had a higher average of body height (p<0,001). In both, study and control group, male subjects had a normal WHR, which is not the case with women. Therefore, there was a statistically significantly higher number of women with pathological WHR (p<0,001) than of men in both groups. The study group had a statistically significantly higher number of subjects with pathological WHR (p<0,001). The average WSR value (waist/BH) is statistically significantly higher in the control group (p<0,001). Obese individuals had significantly higher values of measured anthropometric intraabdominal fat indicators compared to normally nourished people.
