THE ROLE OF A FAMILY IN POLITOXICOMANIA OXICOMANIA

Any need of a drug addict to conform to his drug dependence is eliminated by a successfully accomplished closed system of addictive behaviour and circular change of the state of his mind. His addictive behaviour represents the so- called indestructible homeostasis of a drug - addict' s family. Meeting the drug- user's needs deprives him from any desire to deal with his own personality and behaviour. Only in cases when the addictive behaviour is thwarted by requests and even aggressive behaviour of the parents and other members of the society (environment) who ask for explanation, the sense of menace and effect of projected pursuer is convincingly achieved, which can often lead to aggression.Using the GRADIR scale, the investigation has reported that drug addicts' families are not as defective in sharing their emotions as they are defective in their structure, which intensifies irregularity that leads to drug use. If family were better structured, its member might not turn to drug.

PSYCHOTICISM PSYCHOTICISM AS AN ETYOLOGICAL ETYOLOGICAL FACTOR OF POLITOXICOMANIA OXICOMANIA

The psychotropic drug addiction is steadily increasing in the subpopulation of the young generation. The objective of this paper is to investigate the degree of psychoticism as a disintegrating personality phenomenon. Psychoticism comprises elements of autism, insensitiveness, aggression, asocialisation. This irregularity in cognitive processes was tested on three groups of people: politoxicomaniacs, psychotic patients and a control group. The DELTA test reported convincingly raised dimensions on the scale of psychoticism: general executive functions (GEI), schyzotypical behaviour (SHD) , paranoia (P), and depression (D), as crucial factors not only for developing addiction but also for achieving long - term and stable abstinence. Apilot study retesting of abstinent persons, has confirmed, after a year's treatment, the change in their behaviour ( by improving all the results on DELTAscale of psychoticism).

AN EXPLORATION OF RELIABILITY AND VALIDITY OF THE POSITIVE AND NEGATIVE SYNDROME SCALE

Reliability and validity of the Positive and Negative Syndrome Scale (PANSS) were studied in a population of 68
patients diagnosed with schisophrenia in accordance with (ICD-10) criteria. Interrater reliability was good: 0.61, positive
scale; 0.54, negative scale; 0.52 general psychopathology; 0.55, total scale. Internal consistency was good for total scale
(0.79), positive scale (0.67), and for negative scale (0.72). Internal consistency was weaker for general psychopathology
scale: (0.58). We isolated a 5- factor structure (negative, excitative, positive, depresseve and cognitive), explaining 57.2%
of the total variance. The internal consistency of the 5 factors isolated was good (0.79, negative factor; 0.76, excitation
factor; 0.75, positive factor; 0.73, depressive factor; and 0.65, cognitive).
